Deuteronomy 15:8 The bible says "but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks".

THE ACHIEVEMENTS

Light of the Soul Ministries started the first juvenile prison computer education vocational training in Nigeria in April 2004. We started the shoe cobbling, tailoring and photography vocational training programs later.

We have sponsored, and are sponsoring, those who got admission to institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. One of such is now a Pastor and also an engineer. Others have graduated as engineers and in other sciences and liberal arts and are still in Christ.

We have conducted many workshops dealing with cultism and use of illicit drugs.

Those who are not academically inclined are sponsored to technical or trade schools.

In some cases, we have been able to reconcile parents and their children. Most of the children ran away from home usually when the parents remarry after a broken marriage.

We follow up with the children when they become married men, to see that they are still in Christ. Many of them still call the ministry for counseling and prayers.

YEAR 2023!!!

In 2023 the ministry was blessed to purchase a property in Abeokuta to be used as an Aftercare Housing and Training facilities ;as a transition center for some of the youths released from custody but have no place to live. It is a facility that incorporates vocational trainings in bakery, tailoring & embroidering and graphic design with sublimation & heat transfer techniques for gift items and branding.
